Manufacturing Excellence & QA Control
Building trust through industrial scale.
We operate advanced automated basalt-melt cupola lines with rigorous quality control testing to compete with global standards. Industrial customers buy confidence, which we deliver through engineering scale and precision.
Annual Capacity
High-capacity double-chamber cupola melting line.
Plant Footprint
State-of-the-art facility located at Miyana, Guna (MP).
Quality Assurance
Certified by TUV NORD for international audit compliance.
Standard Testing
Internal calibration matching national standards.
Standard Operating Procedures
Step-by-Step Production Process
Every batch of Lion Rockwool undergoes precise thermodynamic and mechanical checks at every phase of creation.
Raw Material Assay
Strict quality screening of raw basalt stone, slag, and coke parameters before cupola loading.
Controlled Cupola Melting
High-temperature coke combustion melting basalt at 1500°C for consistent molten lava stream flow.
High-Speed Fiberization
Centrifugal spinning wheels spinning the melt into micro-fibers, adding high-performance thermosetting binders.
Density & Profile Curing
Curing oven compresses fibers to target thicknesses and densities, establishing structural slab/roll dimensions.
Final QA Testing & Pack
Sample batch runs checked for density, thermal K-value, and tensile strengths, shrink-wrapped for transport.
Lab Parameters
QA Inspection & Testing Standards
Our on-site NABL-aligned laboratory verifies physical and thermal values for high-compliance projects:
| Test Parameter | Testing Protocol | Description & Validation |
|---|---|---|
| Thermal Conductivity | ASTM C518 / ISO 8301 | Guarantees K-value specifications are matched and certified. |
| Non-Combustibility | IS 3144 / BS 476 Part 4 | Validates that rockwool fibers withstand 1000°C+ heat exposure. |
| Sound Absorption Coefficient | ASTM C423 / ISO 354 | Confirms noise reduction coefficients (NRC) of up to 0.90 for acoustic panels. |
| Flexibility & Resilience | ASTM C1101 | Checks resilience parameters of rolls and mattresses to prevent vibration sagging. |
